Composed school newsletters, created and promoted new events on social media, and communicated with class members. Launched podcast on class Instagram called Rusho's Rapid Reminders to provide information on class events.

Participated in speech tournaments since 7th grade. Have won several speech awards and met a lot of new people through Speech Club. Greatest achievements: winning 2nd place at the  Stanford Preliminary Seeds and making the final round in the State Qualifiers.

Taught high-schoolers Oratory Speech through practice and games to help them express themselves and their passions. As Vice President of the club, led the successful Lynbrook Speech & Debate Summer Camp with over 40 students and ten coaches!

Collaborated with Dr. Pat Langley (emeritus) at Stanford's Design-X Lab. Developed a meme generator platform that converts images into captions (and vice versa) using machine learning and artificial intelligence, word embeddings, object recognition, and caption generation.

Partnered with a college student from Ukraine to practice conversational English through presentations and vocabulary. Had the opportunity to learn what life in Ukraine has been like during the war and help 19-year-old Taisiia gain greater confidence in her English skills. 

Chosen as co-president and PR manager for the club and have been doing outreach and creating new ARKtivities so that more students do little kind things for their peers throughout Lynbrook and create more smiles on campus. Active participant for the past two years.

Created prototype and brainstormed unique cookie names with a college theme for our Cookie Business case study. Won 1st place in the CaseStudy competition, provided winning ideas for productivity, marketing, and design.

Created a platform called “Ambicove” with three others to provide classes and discussion opportunities for isolated seniors. Pitched our idea, and I made the final video showcasing our product. 

Enhanced management skills by driving sales through communication with customers, stocked and checked inventory. Designed and built a toy section, ordered inventory for daily food, made shelf tags for items.

Formulated step-by-step solutions to math textbook problems with hints and “skip” options. Collaborated with coding team to put solutions in a program sent to juveniles in prison to help them learn high school math.

Started with tutoring my sister and her friends. Tutored students in math in-person and online, functioning as a peer tutor. Tutored school students in Math Olympiad and AMC8 at our local after-school program, Safari Kids.

Participated in math competitions since elementary school. Got a near perfect score on the Math Olympiad, and won the top 2% trophy. Received an Honorable Mention distinction for AMC 8 exam.
